Croatians Mate Pavic and Nikola Mektic will face the British duo of Daniel Evans and Neal Skupski in the Miami Open presented by Itaú Men’s Doubles final aiming for their fourth title in 2021.

Seeded second in the draw, Pavic and Mektic defeated Denver, Co., native Rajeev Ram and Great Britain’s Joe Salisbury 6-3, 7-6(5) to book a spot in the final. So far, they have won the Antalya, Melbourne 2 and Rotterdam titles, were the finalists in Dubai and reached the Australian Open semifinals.

Their rivals will be Evans and Skupski, who upset Croatia’s Ivan Dodig and Slovakia’s Flilp Polasek, the Australian Open champions, 7-6(4), 1-6 and 10-8.

This is their first tournament together this season – Neal was playing with his brother Ken before the Miami Open. On their way to the final, they also prevailed over fourth seeds Bruno Soares of Brazil and Brit Jamie Murray.

The Miami Open Men’s Doubles final will happen on Saturday, April 3rd, at Hard Rock Stadium.
