The second round of men’s singles play at the Miami Open continued today. Headlined by Rafael Nadal, Kei Nishikori and Milos Raonic, a number of stars shined.

The upsets of the day came from Frenchman Jeremy Chardy, who defeated world No. 9 Marin Cilic, and Argentina’s Guido Pella, who defeated world No. 13 Grigor Dimitrov.

Due to rain delays, a few men’s contests from Thursday also wrapped up.

Here are some key results:

(Thursday’s postponed matches)
Bernard Tomic, Australia, dropped out of his match against Kazakhstan qualifier Mikhail Kukushkin after he backed out of play with a back injury
An Australian duo featuring Nick Kyrgios secured a victory over a team with Uruguay’s Pablo Cuevas.

 (Friday’s matches)
World No. 4 Kei Nishikori defeated South African Kevin Anderson. Nishikori was defeated by Novak Djokovic in the 2016 Miami Open finals.
World No. 5 Milos Raonic took care of business in his first appearance since suffering a right leg injury in Delray Beach.
World No. 7 Rafael Nadal won his opener. He’s a fan favorite in Miami.
American Donald Young defeated Lucas Pouille for the second time in two weeks. The two faced off at Indian Wells.
World No. 17 Jack Sock beat Yoshihito Nishioka by retirement. Nishioka was 1-0 in their lone meetup.
World No. 28 Steve Johnson was defeated by France’s Nicolas Mahut. Mahut took part in the longest match in tennis history against Johnson’s doubles partner, John Isner.
Americans Jared Donaldson and Taylor Fritz each faced German opponents. Donaldson beat Mischa Zverev, not to confuse him with his brother Alex Zverev, who is also playing in Miami. Fritz was defeated by No. 26 seed Philipp Kohlschreiber.
The Zverev brothers advanced to the second round of doubles play with a win over a team that featured Dominic Thiem.
Argentina’s Federico Delbonis defeated Spain’s Pablo Carreno Busta. Delbonis is now 4-1 in head to head play. Despite his No. 19 ranking, Carreno Busta is now 0-4 in the Miami Open.
