MIAMI – The Miami Open presented by Itaú is partnering with Moët & Chandon to host a series of events throughout Miami leading up to the start of the 2016 tournament. Moët & Chandon has been the Official Champagne sponsor of the Miami Open since 2014.
One of the liveliest locations on the Miami Open site, the Moët & Chandon Champagne & Sushi Lounge is a without question a fan favorite. Now, for the first time, the tournament is bringing the bubbly to you!
The Miami Open and Moët & Chandon will host a total of five events starting with four back-to-back happy hours at different Miami hot spots beginning Tuesday, March 15th. Each happy hour stop on the tour will allow patrons to partake in exclusive drink specials, including champagne by the glass, on select Moët & Chandon Champagnes. There will also be opportunities to win prizes such as tickets and autographed memorabilia through trivia contests, raffles, and social media contests.
The Moët & Chandon tour will conclude with a brunch event on Sunday, March 20th, the day before the tournament begins. The brunch will be held from 12-5 p.m. at Coya Miami in Brickell and will include a three-course brunch ($45) and bottomless Moët Imperial ($25). Similar to the happy hour events, the brunch will include raffles and giveaways, as well as music from DJ Kidd Moss.
The Butch Buchholz Championship Trophy, which is in the midst of touring South Florida, will be making a stop at Toro Toro at the Intercontinental. Champagne drinkers will have a chance to pose and take pictures with the hand-blown crystal trophy that is presented each year to the Miami Open champion.
