Authentic cuisine, live music and dance, and unforgettable moments across campus
Hispanic Heritage Day comes to life across campus with vibrant flavors, electrifying performances, and special moments around every corner. From authentic Latin cuisine and signature cocktails to live music, dynamic dance showcases, and exclusive giveaways, today’s celebration honors the richness, energy, and diversity of Hispanic culture.
Food
If you’re looking for delicious, authentic Hispanic food today, you’re in luck: of the 54 different food and beverage vendors on site, over a dozen are Latin-inspired.
Sunset Terrace by DoorDash offers the widest array, hosting Tacos Atarantados, Suviche, Chug’s Diner, Café la Trova, Brugal Rum Bar, Amazonica and Santo Dulce. Barceloneta offers incredible tapas and vibes at South Plaza, while La Carreta serves up impressive drinks just inside the stadium. If you’re looking for a quicker or smaller bite, Matchpoint Arepas by P.A.N. are offered at the Court 29 Food Hall and Half Moon Empanadas at Baseline Club East.
Today’s signature cocktail can be found at The Grove and Grandstand Bar all day long. The Fiesta Fizz blends aguardiente, lime, and ginger beer into one unforgettable sip made just for Hispanic Heritage Day!
Music & Dance
As soon as you enter the gates, the celebration begins. Mariachi Los Mensajeros welcome guests to the beautiful sounds of a live Mariachi band from 11 a.m. – noon, but the party doesn’t end once you walk in. At Sunset Terrace, Cuban Rumberos bring an electric performance honoring the heartbeat of Hispanic culture at the same time.
Later in the afternoon, the entertainment continues. Join us once again at Sunset Terrace from 4:30 – 5 p.m. for a live Vallenato performance of one of Latin America’s most beloved musical traditions. From 5 – 6, watch our Latin Dancers put on a show in the Piper-Heidsieck Champagne Garden, then head to the gates from 5:30 – 6 to catch an authentic Flamenco performance that stops you in your tracks.
The day winds down with a local Spanish drummer performance at the Fountains from 6 – 7 as a hypnotic send-off to close out Hispanic Heritage Day in unforgettable style.
Giveaways
Keep your eyes peeled throughout the day for some special giveaways. Custom Miami Open scarves are handed out at the entrance while supplies last!
On the front end, the PNC Mobile Branch at the main entrance will be giving away prizes all day long, while Electrolit will be stationed at the campus exit with some samples of their own. The free samples continue at Publix Patio at Publix Padel Park as they offer food samples and claw machine giveaways.
