The Miami Open presented by Itaú welcomed a new group of champions, record attendance and a brand-new concert series in 2023.

And there were only two: between the seven American players that started the day in the 2023 Miami Open Women’s Qualifying First Round, only College standouts Peyton Stearns and Emma Navarro have won and still stand a chance to get a spot into the main draw.

The 2023 Miami Open presented by Itaú kicks off tomorrow, March 19, with the first round of the Women’s Qualifying Draw. Forty-eight players, including some that were already ranked in the WTA top ten, will fight for the 12 available spots in the main draw.

Returning champions, Carlos Alcaraz and Iga Swiatek, appear as main favorites this year at Hard Rock Stadium. Besides the thrilling on-court action for the fans to enjoy, a full line-up of events is scheduled for the next two weeks.
