Unlock the magic of the Miami Open with music, food, and art experiences taking place across the campus


From local DJs to Grammy-nominated musicians, the Miami Open showcases an array performances throughout the campus grounds. During the 2023 tournament, The Final Set presented by Stella Artois concert series featured performances by Cimafunk and Kool & the Gang. Fans who purchased tickets to Sessions 22 and 23 were treated to the concert immediately following the conclusion of play or trophy presentation, each day.

Grammy Nominated Cimafunk

The Afro-Cuban rockstar brought the funk to the 2023 Miami Open during Session 22 on Friday, March 31 with his classical Cuban rhythms and innovative music mix. Cimafunk continues to redefine contemporary Cuban music, Afro-Latin identity, and the fusion of black cultures, with his live show serving as a celebration of groove and an unforgettable sonic experience. His latest album, El Alimento, was nominated at the 2023 Grammy Awards for Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album.

Legendary Kool & the Gang

The two-time Grammy Award-winning band has been a mainstay in music for more than five decades with hits like Celebration, Cherish, Jungle Boogie, and more. The group took the the stage during Session 23 on Saturday, April 1.  Kool & the Gang has inspired multiple generations of artists, having earned 31 Gold and Platinum albums, 25 Top Ten R&B hits, nine Top Ten Pop hits, seven American Music Awards, and in 2021 their Celebration anthem was added to the Library of Congress National Recording Registry.
