The 2017 Miami Open presented by Itaú will be partnering with Humane Society of Greater Miami on Wednesday, March 22 to help find permanent homes for some loving animals. The Humane Society will have several dogs and cats available for adoption out by Grandstand Court from 3-6 pm.

The Humane Society has a history of helping homeless animals in Miami Dade since 1936. According to WFOR-CBS, they have been named one of the Top 5 Best Places to adopt a pet in Miami. All pets that go through the Humane Society are safe from euthanasia. Adoption fees are nominal and all pets are up to date with age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered and micro chipped.

The event will be the second of three in which the Miami Open will be participating. The tournament recently had a booth at the Humane Society’s Walk for the Animals earlier this month and tournament staff will be volunteering at the Humane Society on April 27.

The 2017 Miami Open is scheduled for March 20 – April 2 and will once again be the hottest ticket in town. With ticket packages starting at just $136 and individual sessions starting at $24 the Miami Open will be the place-to-be in Miami. Tickets are on sale now, for more information go to www.miamiopen.com or call the Miami Open ticket office at 305-442-3367.
