Miami- Novak Djokovic faced David Goffin in the men’s semifinals and came out victorious in two consecutive matches, 7-6(5), 6-4. The first set saw a hard-fought tiebreaker. Goffin broke for a 4-3 lead in the first set, but Djokovic came back and won the tiebreak 7-5.

The third set was being played just past 2:00 PM and the sun was barreling down on the players.

“It was very warm, and very humid,” said Djokovic. “But I was proud to stay tough in the important moments and came up with some big serves.”

Djokovic will compete with the winner of this evenings match: Nishikori vs. Kyrgios. Tickets are still available  online and at the Miami Open box offices.
