The 2014 Sony Open Tennis has your cure for the Monday morning blues. How about Maria Sharapova, Serena Williams, Stanislas Wawrinka and Rafael Nadal, in that order during the Monday Day Session to get you through the slowest day of the work week?
After a grueling Saturday night victory over Lucie Safarova, Sharapova will be back on Stadium Court to try her hand in the South Florida sun against Kirsten Flipkens of Belgium starting at 11 a.m. Sharapova will be followed by Williams, who was also pushed to three sets in her second round match, as the World No. 1 takes on qualifier Coco Vanderweghe.
Three seed and Australian Open winner Wawrinka is next on the Stadium Court as he faces Edouard Roger-Vasselin, and that match will be followed with World No.1 Nadal taking on Denis Istomin from Uzbekistan. Nadal made a triumphant return to Key Biscayne on Saturday night with a decisive win over fellow Grand Slam winner Lleyton Hewitt.
Also in action on Monday is American John Isner against Spaniard Nicolas Almagro. For a full schedule and tickets visit 2014 Sony Open Tennis ticket page.
